Guests consistently highlight the peaceful atmosphere, well-equipped kitchen, and family-friendly features such as a trampoline and play area. The hosts are frequently described as welcoming and helpful. While most experiences were excellent, a few guests noted occasional issues with heating and laundry access. The property is ideally situated for exploring Cirencester, Tetbury, and local attractions, making it a delightful rural retreat for couples and families alike.

Multiple reviews describe the cottage as 'immaculately clean', 'very clean', and 'of impeccable cleanliness', with no significant complaints about cleanliness.

Guests appreciate the peaceful, rural location with beautiful views and easy access to Cirencester, Tetbury, and local pubs. Some mention the lack of immediate village amenities, but overall the setting is highly praised.

The cottage is frequently described as cosy, comfortable, and spacious, with particular praise for the beds and warmth in winter. One review mentioned discomfort with some seating, but this was a minor point among overwhelmingly positive feedback.

Facilities such as the well-equipped kitchen, garden, play equipment, and BBQ are highly valued. A few guests noted issues with laundry access and heating on arrival, but these were exceptions rather than the norm.

Lovely place to stay! The garden is beautiful, the house itself is spacious and clean, equipped with everything you need. The garden contains a swing and trampoline and a large lawn to play or relax in. The hosts are lovely and considerate, and on top of that, there’s an amazing pub within 15 minutes of walking distance! If it happens to be, we would absolutely come back!

A truly beautiful cottage set in an outstanding garden, a credit to Mr and Mrs Oldfield. The cottage is very well stocked with cutlery and crockery, home from home. Immaculately clean with plenty of room. There is a newly renovated pub, The Tunnel, which is assessable via the public footpath Monarch’s way which crosses two fields, approximately 15 mins walk or road 5 mins drive away. Didn’t eat there as was fully booked up having just opened. The cottage is not far from Tetbury and is central for visiting quite a range of National Trust sites too many to mention.Certainly can recommend a visit.
