On arrival at Baytree Lodge we were a little disappointed with the exterior. It was in need of a good coat of varnish as well as the decking area.Inside was better albeit a bit dusty( lots of fluff bunnies) but having said that the beds and bedding were lovely and comfy. Also lovely white fluffy towels. The upside was the amazing private seating area outside looking out over the woods. So quiet and peaceful listening to the birds. The only other thing was the write up stated a welcome pack was provided but there wasn't one so we had to head to the local Sainsburys as we hadn't brought basic provisions with us.Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Tucked away in quiet location apart from being under the flight path! Beautiful walks right outside on footpaths & bridle ways & very close for Donington events, though very basic for the money we paid & unfortunately accommodation was not cleaned very well at all either & we are contacting Cottages.com

We stayed in a very charming cottage in a peaceful setting. The accommodation was spotlesly clean and well organised. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were lovely, so we slept very well. We particularly appreciated that the heating was already on when we arrived, which made a real difference. We would happily come back.
