Me and my 3 girlfriends stayed for a couple of nights away here and it was just what we needed. The owner sally was responsive when needed to contact someone. The only thing i have to really critisize is the cooker. It worked once in the morning with no issues, but when i tried to turn it on again that evening, it just wouldnt come on, we tried for a while to get it working. The beds are very comfortable. Just be wary as it maybe a bit breezy in the lounge area, but the bedrooms can be stifling hot.Would definatley reccomend this place, and would definatley come back.

The accommodation was well presented, some cobwebs here and there but generally clean. Had some issues accessing the TV (additional instructions would be helpful). Someone came out promptly to resolve the issue and offer some additional guidance. Kitchen generally well equipped but missing a slotted spoon from the range of utensils available. The location was rural but in a lovely setting. Unfortunately (for us), we had some issues with the hot tub and could realistically only use it on day 4 of our four night break as it wasn't heating up. When I reported it on day 3 someone attended promptly but it took over 24 hours to reach a usable temperature (36.5C). This was quite a disappointment for us as we had purposely looked for a break with a hot tub so limited access did affect our enjoyment of this break. My wife also had an issue with the shower as it ran cool during her shower and she had to exit, turn shower off and leave it for ten minutes before resuming. The fridge had a shelf in the door that had been previously damaged with a repair attempted. Unfortunately it wasn't possible to use this as bottles/cartons tended to topple over if placed within it. might be better to remove this altogether. Some other comments:*wasn't immediately clear where to place our rubbish or whether recycling was required/encouraged.*wasn't clear where the glasses had been stored, only discovered this on day 2.*Some additional information on places to visit in the area with recommendations would be useful. Leaflets left under TV were not always current. The comments, whilst appearing critical are intended to be signposts to where improvements can be made. Generally we enjoyed our break but there were opportunities for it to have been enhanced.

Had a lovely stay. beautifully location great views. Some minor cleanliness issues but nothing that would effect us booking again. The horses were a nice watch. Hot tub was great one if the best we’ve stayed in. We would book again.
