Freezing cold, the underfloor heating was totally inefficient. The “welcome” logs only lasted a couple of hours. No welcome pack which is quite mean. The bath doesn’t drain after a shower so if there are two people or more you have to stand ankle deep in the other person’s dirty water. The toothbrush mug was gross, thick grey mould on the bottom. The grass was quite long so searching for dog poo was not easy. Probably the worst cottage I have stayed in.

Very difficult to locate in the dark. Poor instructions its an unlit rural location.Heating was on low, took all night to get to a reasonable temperature. Hot tub is full of cold water that needs a fire built under it.Shower over a bath with no taps runs slower than a watering can and does not drain away. The bathroom sink was also slow to drain. No heating upstairs. General cosmetic state was poor. Very bare, everything very basic and low cost. Just pretty miserable. A vacuum cleaner and a scabby sack of logs in the living room. No rugs on the floors. Welcome book was a shabby dog eared mess. In the bedroom an assortment of shop clothes hangers all different. Booked 2 nights only stayed 1.

felt cosy with the fire, lovely decorations in the house felt warm and inviting, in a beautiful, quiet place overall we loved this little house with an amazing woodburner and hot tub. slight isue was finding the tiny entrance to the driveway to it in the dark, but I called the owner and he helped direct us to it! again helped us how to heat up the hot tub. Apart from that the place is very relaxing and we had a lovely time away.
