This pet friendly, detached barn conversion is the perfect retreat for walkers and cyclists, with routes available straight from the door. Situated on a country lane (no through road), this property enjoys some of the most magnificent sunrises and sunsets and is close to the market town of Horncastle, which is also well known for its antique and collectables shops. The Georgian market town of Louth is just 10 miles away and still has three markets a week, as well as boutique shops and cafés. To the east are the year round dog friendly sandy beaches at the traditional seaside resort of Skegness and the city of Lincoln, which is famous for its cathedral, castle and Magna Carta Visitor Centre is a 30-minute drive to the west. The battle of Britain Memorial Flight and Visitor Centre is about 20 minutes away, where the planes can often be spotted over The Lincolnshire Wolds. Beach 18 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.

Fantastic little cottage. If you are looking for a peaceful environment surrounded by fields and dog friendly then this cottage is for you. The cottage has everything you need and the WiFi is excellent. And as for dog friendly the owner goes above and beyond for their comfort too. There was a lovely welcome gift for both us and the dogs and the owner came round for a welcome chat too. The nearest supermarket and pub are a few miles away in Horncastle so a car is recommended especially as there is so much to see and do in Lincoln. On clear days you can plane spot and also lots of birds of prey around. Our first visit to Lincolnshire - we will definitely be back

Had a great stay at Dale View Barn.It was super dog friendly and a lovely welcome pack for us and the dogs.It was so peaceful there I slept like a log.The beds were comfortable and the barn was roomy and homely.

Peaceful and quiet with wonderful views, and yet not fat from local restaurants and amenities in Horncastle. Cottage is clean and has everything you need. Have stayed before and will visit again.
