This holiday let is truly magical. We loved the quirky building, the history, the deer, the trees and the peace. Note of course that it is a gate house so if you sit in the garden there is quite a lot of traffic passing. It didn't bother us unduly. We would have rebooked for the Autumn except for one major issue, the WiFi. There was a very weak signal and it constantly cut-out. If you are hoping to watch iPlayer or any streaming channels there is no chance and we found if both of us tried to use WiFi at the same time it was far from satisfactory. Such a shame

The rural setting is perfect, the park land is historic and valuable beyond money. After a few day of listening to the birds, the trees, the sheep and watching the deer you feel restored. The property is clean, warm and has so much character it feels a privilege to stay there. It takes much hard work behind the scenes to achieve this level of comfort, thank you
