We have just had the best 5 days at Ings barn,with our 2 daughters and 5 grandchildren.The setting is so beautiful which made a gorgeous backdrop to the swimming pool ( which we all loved).The pond is so tranquil and we also had visits from baby deer. The nearest supermarket is around 10 mins drive away ( Bath towels are not supplied,so bring them with you).

The cottage itself is lovely. Good location and the pool is great. However, the beds were uncomfortable (we were asked to strip the beds which showed the quality) and the whole place just clearly hadn’t been cleaned. There was old rice stuck to place mats, the table cloth and plates had dried sauce on, there was someone’s left over grease on the oven trays and the floor looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for weeks. I did read other reviews on the cleanliness but would have hoped the owners would have rectified the situation so that other visitors didn’t have to go and clean everything upon arrival. Spending the first hours of our holiday cleaning wasn’t what we expected to do! Such a shame as it could be a really lovely place.
