Within walking distance are shops, pubs, restaurants and takeaways, and a short drive away, 30 minutes, are the market towns of Louth and Horncastle for days out. Lincoln is about an hour’s drive to the west, and is famous for its cathedral, castle and Magna Carta Visitor Centre. There is also a Roman fort and modern museum, The Collection, which brings together a museum of archaeology and the regions premier art gallery, The Usher Gallery. Beach 300 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 500 yards.

Really run down, back door lock keeps sticking, All hedges over grown, rusty nail sticks out the wall when you get out the car, needs safety handle by back door because high steps going in, Dirty rusty frying pans. and cooking facilities all need replacing Knives and forks out of date, No door between kitchen and lounge it been taken off, no slip mats in the shower upstairs or downstairs, no door catch in shower down stairs, or lock 🔒 light bulbs missing door bolt catch 😂 bedroom five damp on ceiling broken door handle bedroom four no door catch bedroom three door does not shut, bedroom two no door catch, bedroom one had to adjust curtain on rail letting light in at night, loose toilet seats up stairs and down 👇 Cheap plastic kettle you can taste plastic in you coffee and tea.I would give a ratting 00000 do not stay here the place is run down.for future guest.not worth the money. I had to go and buy my own frying pan and saucepan.

Beautiful house in a good position. I would sack the cleaner if that is her standard, we had to clean the kitchen before we could use it. The house needs a good deep clean and upgrading. I am sorry if I have offended anybody but this my opinion. The bedrooms weren't bad and the beds were very comfortable. The main lounge was also very nice clean and comfortable. Also stair gate was broken and with a 2 year old and 2 dogs we had to make it work with books and broken gate.As we were only there for 2 days we made do and as a family had a really good time.
