Situated on a section of the River Steeping known as the ’Haven’, these beautifully converted cottages offer cosy, stylish holiday accommodation in a peaceful, picturesque location and enjoy country views. All three properties have the added benefit of a private hot tub. Originally agricultural buildings dating from 1872, access to the cottages is via a private lane on the owner’s arable farm, which itself is steeped in history. Guests are welcome to explore over 80 acres of riverbank and tracks, ideal for wildlife watching and romantic strolls. Just 800 yards away is the medieval town of Wainfleet All Saints. Here visitors will find a weekly market and street auctions, pubs, a famous brewery with visitor tours, restaurants and shops. Award-winning sandy beaches, family entertainment and amusements can be found 5 miles away in Skegness, and Fantasy Island fun park is 8 miles. Gunby Hall is 7 miles and Tattersall Castle 15 miles, both National Trust. Horncastle, famous for antiques, is 15 miles and the medieval cathedral city of Lincoln is 40 miles. We haven’t got a bad word to say about Salem View! Just got home from the best week away for my 40th Birthday! It was the perfect accommodation for us and the price was amazing considering it has a hot tub and is so close to Skegness. 4 of us fit in the bedroom perfectly with a travel cot on one side for my toddler and we brought the next to me for the other side for my baby. The living room is spacious enough for all of your things inc baby things like high chairs and toys!The hot tub was amazing, and my only ‘nice to have’ would have been for the fencing surrounding this to have a lick of paint with some fairy lights and some pots/flowers… and for the pots of plants around the front to be a little more looked after but I appreciate this is a hard job for a site like this in the hot weather we’ve been having.We’d love to come back in the future as being close to Skegness was great for the babies! Chris was also super helpful with my partner arranging some things for my birthday.We are missing Salem View already!Thanks so much! Natalie, Carl and the boys!

Another lovely stay at this site, we love it!! Perfect for dogs with having a big enclosed garden. Ideally placed to explore and only 15 mins from the beach. Lovely hottub, probably the best we've had!!My only recommendations would be to move the key box, having people randomly coming into the garden without asking isn't ideal, especially if your dog is running free.The chairs at the back could do with some tlc.
