The Gallery was a well-equipped, comfortable cottage in spacious grounds located in a quiet rural village, ideal for getting away from the “hustle & bustle” of everyday life. The standard of cleanliness was exceptional. The owner has provided a comprehensive information folder and probably the best “welcome pack” we have ever had. Making their guests welcome and providing information during the course of our stay was a hall mark of the care they obviously take in making their guests feel welcome and valued. The Blacksmiths Arms (Skendleby) and The Coach house (Keal Coats), both a short drive away, provided exceptional meals (worth making a table reservation). There is a variety of activities and attractions in the vicinity (coastal and nature walks, nature reserves, historic buildings and museums (of note the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre (East Kirkby) and Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Visitor Centre (located on the operational base at RAF Coningsby)). This is an excellent “retreat” for a relaxing stay.

The Gallery was wonderful. Very clean and had everything you could possibly want to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Enjoyed watching the rabbits, birds and pheasants in the garden every day. Was lucky enough to see deer in the garden one early morning. We eat out when on holiday so normally like a pub/ restaurant within walking distance. But unfortunately there was nothing nearby. Would thoroughly recommend The Blacksmiths Arms at Skendleby for a warm welcome and great food. It just means you have to drive for 10 minutes. The Gallery is a great place for a relaxing break.

What a fantastic place to stay. It was spotlessly clean very welcoming with a touch of luxury. The Gallery was very well equipped throughout with great attention to detail. The welcome pack was one of the best we've had very generous. The information pack regards where to eat and where to go was so useful too.Luckily the weather was glorious so we could use the garden and enjoy the surroundings. We were able to keep in touch with Natalie (the owner) if needed, but fortunately everything was fine throughout our stay. In fact so much so we are planning our next stay already.
