The location is great for walking and visiting the surrounding villages/area that are lovely. The property had everything we needed and our family loved staying there. Would definitely recommend.

Limit on hot water due to the method of heating - very often not enough water for six people to shower during the day let alone fill a sink of washing up water. Due to unenclosed gardens the property could not be described as dog friendly - dog paddocks overgrown and insecure. Waste disposal - a nightmare - no recycling according to the hotel - had to bring our recycling home or take it to the nearest recycling centre. Site not particularly child friendly. Although threatened with charges if we lost or broke anything there was no inventory for us to check what we should have. All in all - not good value for the money charged - would never book onto the site again.

However a number of minor issues arose due to lack of attention to detail eg shortage of toilet tissue, lack of dishcloths, little information with regard to recycling, leaking bath plug (subsequently fixed), only one egg cup, faulty saucepan. Nothing serious but irritating at the time. Aside from these minor points we enjoyed our stay and would recommend.
