Wow. First impressions do count. Was very clean. And smelt clean. Kitchen was very good had everything. Loved the nice touch 2 bottles of wine in the fridge. Christmas tree in front room and a decent size tv. Lovely gas fire in front room. Nice double bed with a topper on made it very comfortable. And 2 single beds which also comfortable. Parking was easy. Very quiet area. Loads of books and maps etc. Bathroom was lovely nice hot shower very powerful shower head. Prefer gas. Had a problem with the radiators but soon sorted them out just a lot of air in them. Brought my own tool to sort them out. Apart from that no other issues. Would love to book again for next Christmas. So near to everything but just enough away for some peace. Mama Mia take away very nice food. The George good food and beer, The main chippy fish and chips Keswickian I think it's called. Packhorse all great... the kings arms small but nice for a drink. Keswick lights for Christmas was beautiful.

Everything was fine but there was no toilet rolls on arrival. We had to go toilet roll shopping at 9 o’clock in the evening.
