There are many walking and cycling trails within the Lake District National Park and numerous places of interest, including Beatrix Potter’s house, Hill Top, Dove Cottage, Go Ape at Grizedale Forest and the Lakeland Motor Museum. First time at this apartment after one on the same site became unavailable after 25 years! Didn't disappoint. Clean, well equipped. Could do with a step stool in the kitchen for the not very tall of us.

Great location close to supermarket, shops and buses. Tastefully furnished flat. Well equipped. Comfortable beds. Good having 2 bathrooms. Easy access from car park for anyone with mobility issues. Small step into ensuite shower in main bedroom. Parking tight but manageable and a bonus to be so close to the main entrance. Surrounded by well maintained and attractive grounds. Mountain views as you step outside the door.
