A charming two bedroomed corner terraced cottage, a stone’s throw from Keswick town centre and a 4-minute walk from picturesque Derwentwater and Hope Park. Built in the early 19th century as two separate cottages, Lund Cottage has undergone total refurbishment. It has an ’upside down’ layout with an airy living area, kitchen upstairs and bedrooms downstairs. It offers a luxuriously comfy, well appointed holiday home full of character, including original oak beams and an attractive fireplace with coal-effect gas fire for cosy winter nights.

The cottage is in a great location for access to the town. It was comfortable and had everything we needed during our stay. As other reviews have mentioned, access into the cottage can be problematic IF both cars are parked in the private courtyard and offloading / loading the car can be a problem due to the narrow street outside. The parking permit was a welcome perk (you need to register prior to arrival).Personally I think the cottage would benefit from updating but it certainly didn’t detract from our experience..

A great cottage, very convenient for town and well stocked. Frustrating not to be able to park outside the house and to have other cars parked in front of the door but was great to have a permit to park in the local carparks
