It has been renovated to an excellent standard with a cosy wood burner, exposed stone walls, oak beams, bags of character and some antique furniture complimented with quality soft furnishings. The cottage benefits from a superb fellside location in ’John Peel country’, situated on the tranquil Caldbeck Fells with walks directly from the door and quiet country lanes ideal for cycling. The renowned village of Caldbeck is within 3 miles with pub, tea room and shops. Shop, pub and restaurant 3 miles.

Cosy & comfortable cottage, Simon the owner is super friendly & helpful. Garden isnt attatched but just over the lane, it is gated with a stream running across bottom end, across of on otherside the farmers sheep like to roam! Not so good for letting an over excited dog wonder without checking first but other than that - its lovely. Id definetly reccomend a stay here if you like peace & quiet
