Bow Rigg is a well-located cottage in Windermere, offering stunning views and a convenient position close to local amenities and the waterfront. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and the bonus of a balcony in warm weather. While some refurbishment is suggested, particularly in the bathroom, the property presents good value and potential for a pleasant stay.
The property is generally clean and tidy, with comfortable beds and a well-maintained kitchen. However, some guests noted issues with bathroom cleanliness, including mould in grouting and a discoloured toilet seat, which suggests room for improvement.
The location is highly praised for its proximity to bars, shops, and the Bowness waterfront. It is considered ideal for visiting the lakes and is well-regarded despite some parking challenges.
Guests find the beds extremely comfortable and the living spaces adequate. The presence of a balcony is a plus, although some guests suggest the property could be brighter and more inviting.
Facilities like the kitchen are appreciated, but there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as a damaged bath panel, poorly fitted flooring, and a broken fridge. The need for refurbishment in parts is noted.
There are no specific mentions of gifts or special thoughtful touches provided by the hosts, so it is not possible to assess this category. As such, the score is set to null.

Lovely place to stay, really enjoyed it.The only thing is that it states there is parking, there isn't, it does say you can park behind the shops, there wasn't any spaces available, I parked on the car park on Rayrigg Road for £21.60 for 3 days. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would probably stay again.

This apartment is in a great location but should not be sold with parking. This is because the parking is for all the residents in the area and the shops, so, it is impossible to park. The apartment looks good on the pictures but it is tired in parts and the other parts look to have been refurbished but not to a great standard.
