Lake View is a contemporary two bedroomed apartment which is ideal for couples or small families wanting to explore the central and southern lakes. With an allocated parking space you can enjoy all of this popular tourist town’s shops, bars, cafés and restaurants without having to negotiate town centre traffic and parking charges. There is a comfortable living room with comfy seating and dining for four, a compact but well-equipped kitchen, two nicely presented bedrooms and a family bathroom. The apartment is equipped with 40" Smart TV with Sky Stream including Netflix, DVD player and Wi-Fi ensuring that guests can relax and be entertained at the end of the day’s activities. Both the kitchen and living room enjoy views of Lake Windermere which is within a 5-10 minute walk. Here you can take part in various water sports or for the less energetic, why not take a relaxing cruise.
Whilst there is plenty in Bowness to keep everyone entertained, fed and watered, there is of course lots to see and do outside of the town and the apartment makes a great base from which to explore. Other Cumbrian towns worth visiting within easy access include Ambleside, Kendal, Hawkshead, Cartmel and Ulverston. Families with children will enjoy a visit to the World of Beatrix Potter, South Lakes Zoo, the Lakeland Aquarium, Motor Museum and the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway, where you can take a ride on a steam train. Grizedale Forest also makes a great day out with plenty of trails, mountain biking, Segways and the Go Ape treetop adventure. There are plenty of events and festivals held throughout the year, which together with the stunning scenery and great walking opportunities, make this the perfect year round destination. Beach 19 miles. Shop and restaurant 25 yards, pub 100 yards.

Cosy flat with all you need for self catering, clean and comfordable, location good but comes with a price of lots of noise, main road traffic that goes on through the night, below restaurant staff sitting outside all hours of the morning drinking, delivery drivers and so on, on reading their feedback book in the flat they provide ear plugs for the noise this not mentioned when booking for obvious reasons. The flat is quite drafty so ok in summer but not good for autum and winter and spring. We stayed late September early October.

Great apartment and location in the vibrant town centre.Only improvement I can think of would be instructions and labels for all the TV remotes. It was quite random if we found the right one to use. Some didn't seem to do anything.
