We have stayed in plenty of cottages in Glenridding and this could now be out favorite. The only down side was the lack of coal and we did expect this to be there as it is in the other cottages. During our stay the main water pipe outside burst and we were without any water for almost 48 hours, we spoke to the management and they were very supportive even though it wasn't their fault and the inconvenience didn't spoil our stay.

We love the area and all that it has to offer - cottage is central for all the amenities the area has to offer . The sofas are looking a bit dated there are various rips on both of them and the rug in the lounge is looking like it needs a refresh but overall the cottage suits all our needs

Location is fantastic just a short walk from Glenridding Car Park, shops and eateries. I didn't use my car all week as there are plenty of walks from the cottage and it is a short walk to the Ulster Steamers Glenridding Landing Stage. The cottage itself had all that you might require for a very pleasant stay and is looked after well.
