Guests say

Fellview is a well-received cottage, praised for its stunning views, cleanliness, and prime location for walking and exploring the Lake District. Guests find it comfortable, well-equipped, and appreciate the homely touches. While some minor suggestions for improvements are noted, the overall sentiment is highly positive, with many expressing a desire to return.

The cottage consistently receives high marks for cleanliness, with multiple reviews mentioning it being very clean and well-maintained. Only one comment about a broken hoover suggests a slight deduction.

The location is highly praised for its fabulous views and proximity to walking routes and local amenities. It is considered ideal for exploring the Eastern Lakes and has a good pub nearby.

Comfort is frequently highlighted, with special mentions of comfortable beds and a cosy atmosphere. A few comments about flat pillows and basic bedding suggest there is a little room for improvement.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, with a well-equipped kitchen and good entertainment options. However, some guests noted the lack of certain kitchen items, a broken hoover, and a desire for more cleaning products.

While guests appreciate the homely touches and information provided, there is no consistent mention of gifts or welcome packs to accurately assess thoughtfulness. Therefore, this score is set to null.

The heating is electric and it would be helpful to have more information on how to regulate same. The log burner is effective. An excellent location and we really enjoyed our stay.
