We stayed in lodge 67 last week for a weeks break. Parking is a squeeze but we just about managed to fit both cars on. We really liked the lodge it was very nice inside and the beds were very comfortable. The onsuite bathrooms were very nice too. The layout inside was excellent and the two sofas were very comfortable. The dining table was a bit on the large side for 4 people. Has a wine cooler, large fridge freezer, washing machine and large dishwasher. They give you only 1 dishwasher tablet though and there isn't alot of plates/cutlery or cups to fill it. Nice decking outside where we fed the large Rooks that came to say hello. It was very nice and warm inside the only downside to our holiday was we arrived on the Monday and on the Wednesday after we ate our evening meal we noticed the hot water wasn't coming through. We ended up calling the site emergency mobile number where a guy came but he couldn't sort it out. He arranged a gas engineer the following day 'Thursday' who when he came said it needed a part which they can fit on Friday. So because we needed showers they gave us keys to another lodge opposite to use till the following day as people were arriving to go in it on the Friday. The engineer guy came back on the Friday to then say it's still not working and he will need to get this other part instead. Later Friday afternoon the reception rang to say the boiler part wouldn't be arriving till Monday so they will have to give us keys to another lodge to use for showers which was further around the site near the beginning this time. It was a bit inconvenient not being able to use our lodge showers and having a cold wash in the morning rather than constantly boiling the kettle but it would have been more of a pain to have had to repack to move to another lodge for 3 nights that we had left by this time.We asked for them to provide us with more dishwasher tablets as we couldn't wash up in sink without having to boil the kettle 3-4 times which they did provide us with.Overall, apart from this inconvenience it was a lovely place to stay and staff helpful and we will definitely return.
