The cottage received mixed reviews on cleanliness. Some guests found it immaculately clean, while others reported dirt, mould, and cobwebs, indicating inconsistency in cleaning standards.

The location is highly praised for its beauty and convenience, with easy access to local attractions and great views, making it a perfect base for exploring the Lake District.

Not good . So disappinted when turned the corner and saw where i was staying . Looks so run down from outside , everything dirty outside , hot tub just warm and nothing works on it , why you would wanna sit there i dont know . House was small , not very clean. Paper thin duvet. Not a good stay at all really , not worth the money at all . The farm and all the other cottages and cabins seemed to look lovely , i was shocked to walk up to that and so disappointed .ovbiously the location is amazing but the place itself i paid to have a nice stay at was awful .

Second visit to this lovely little cottage..It is in an amazing location plenty of great pubs which have great food and plenty of walks straight from property. Keswick is a short drive away which makes it ideal for exploring plenty more places to eat and lots of shops…however the cottage is in desperate need of some TLC. Water doesn’t stay in sink in bathroom as plug seal broken…floor boards squeak bed squeaks and creaks…kitchen blind broken and light bulb out in lounge. Recliner chair in lounge broken. Hot tub area has cigarette butts and needs a general sweep and tidy…all these issues were raised at our last stay a year ago and not been looked at which is a shame…if some care and attention to detail was given this cottage is a real gem.
