Lovingly renovated by the owners, no expense has been spared to ensure that this apartment offers contemporary comforts that you may need or expect from a self-catering property in the Lake District National Park. Unlike many of the apartments within this development, Fawn View is very spacious. The entrance hall opens onto a well-equipped kitchen with all of the necessary appliances you need to cook up a feast for the senses. There are three comfortable bedrooms in this fantastic apartment, one of which has a Freeview TV. The cosy living/dining room has a 40" Freeview TV mounted on the wall, along with an electric fire, dining table and French doors leading onto the small balcony with outdoor furniture.
Set back from the main road that runs through Bowness-on-Windermere, Fawn View enjoys a quiet residential location which is conveniently close to all of the town’s amenities. There is also allocated parking which means that you don’t have to worry about town centre traffic and parking charges. There is a short cut next to the apartment which will take you into the town centre, where you will find an excellent selection of bars, cafés, restaurants, takeaways, pubs and shops. Bowness-on-Windermere is also home to a traditional cinema and the World of Beatrix Potter attraction, which is very popular with families. Other family friendly places to visit include the South Lakes Safari Zoo, Lakeland Aquarium, Motor Museum and the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Steam Railway. Lake Windermere is just a 10-minute walk away and from here you can either hire a boat or take a ride on one of the old Victorian steamers. The surrounding fells offer lots of great walking opportunities, making it the perfect base for families who like to keep active. Grizedale Forest also makes for a great day out with plenty of trails, mountain biking and the Go Ape Treetop Adventure. Other popular Lakeland towns within easy driving distance include Windermere, Ambleside, Kendal, Hawkshead, Cartmel and Ulverston. Had the best weekend in this apartment. The apartment had everything you would need for a weekend away and is right in the middle of Bowness, close to all local amenities! I will absolutely come back and stay here!
