The barn was so hot because of the pool and not much privacy in the bedrooms upstairs as they were 3 in a row. For 8 people the cooking pots and pans were not sufficient. The front room there was not enough seating for everyone to sit and play games. It needs updating as damp stains on the ceilings and the garden unkempt and the windows in the pool area did not open.

Great weekend stay at St Andrews Barn. Friendly helpful owner who provided a helpful welcome package, including wine ! Accomodation was clean and tidy. Two downstairs bathrooms. Three upstairs bedrooms are in a row with each end having a staircase, but the middle bedroom needs to be accessed from either of the other bedrooms. One bedroom open plan over the kitchen diner. Fourth bedroom downstairs, helpful as we had disabled parents with us. Kitchen well equiped including dishwasher and washing machine for which the owner had left enough tablets. Halogen hob, microwave, toaster and two fridge freezers, one of which was big enough for 8 people and brand new. TV freesat signal good. Wifi also available, good for phones and tablets etc, although Netflix etc buffered regularly. Asda Express and Costa less than 1/2 a mile away. Swaffham 3 miles away. Plenty of takeaway options. Lastly the swimming pool ! Just great. Heated to 28c with a deep, deep end (careful if you have younger visitors) and heaps of play equipment available. Would we recommend - yes for sure.
