  We've had a fantastic week in this beautiful house, thank you! There's so much to do even without having to leave wells - walking to the beach, crabbing on the harbour, wondering around the shops... Lots of great places to eat too - some how managed to get into The Globe for Sunday dinner without booking, and also enjoyed meals at The Bowling Green Inn (handily around the corner!) and the pigs in Edgefield. Enjoyed the train to Walsingham and a trip to Holkham Hall. The playground was a huge hit! Also loved ice creams from pretty much every outlet in Wells, and the playground behind. Perfect location as we've been able to walk everywhere, and so handy to have the Coop down the road. We love the house too - if you're ever thinking of selling up, let us know! we'd love to come back and hope to make a future booking - will be getting pestered by our children until we do! Thank you!   Great cottage in a brilliant location. Recently enjoyed a stay at The Constable's House. It was in a brilliant location for accessing all the local shops, galleries, cafes, pubs, entertainment, harbour, beach etc. on foot as well as not too far from other places that were well worth a visit by car.The cottage was extremely spacious, cosy, clean and well furnished and equipped with lots of interesting artwork in every room. Special mention must be made of the comfortable beds and lovely bed linen and towels. Quiet location, lovely to hear the birds singing.The welcome pack was a nice touch and the handbook provided contained so much useful information. Alpacas passing the house, being taken for walks was an unusual sight which we really enjoyed!Would highly recommend.

  We stayed at Poppy House with family, including young grandchildren, for a week in March 2025. The house was very family-friendly with toys, books & games for all ages as well as spare buckets & spades if needed! The house was clean & tidy, with lots of room for everyone. The separate bathroom, shower room & third toilet came in handy for our large family. The beach is just a 5 minute walk away. The bakery selling delicious cakes, the bike shop selling really good coffee, a decent chippy & The Ship Inn serving tasty meals are also close by. The owner & house manager were quick to respond to any queries. We have no hesitation in recommending this lovely holiday home to others.

  First visit to North Norfolk and Cromer - won't be the last! The Coach House was actually choice after being let down on a property in Sheringham. On reflection this was a blessing in disguise. Property is fantastic and ideal for us to leave our car on the drive for most of the week.Recommendations; Gibson's Bistro, No.1 Cromer, The Grove for afternoon tea, and the Old Rock Shop bistro/ West Street Deli. Fantastic bread from craft bakery, and North Sea Coffee was excellent. Blickling and Felbrigg, great for NT visiting, but otherwise Cromer is such a great place to explore.

  We have had a wonderful time here in The Constables House, which is very comfortable, clean and has all you could need. Thank you for the welcome hamper which we all enjoyed. (J loved the biscuits and apple juice especially!) S and B went to Midnight Mass at the church and we all walked down to the beach twice through the pinewoods and back along the beach. Admiring all the beach huts and then hot chocolate at the Beach Cafe before walking back to the house for Turkey Sandwiches! (of course). Making memories of a lovely Christmas spent in Wells-next-the-Sea.
