Brackenhurst Cottage is a charming two bedroom annex, with its own fully enclosed garden and private entrance, within walking distance of West Runton's amenities, including pubs, tea rooms, shops and a gorgeous sandy beach. There is wonderful walking directly from the garden on the National Trust West Runton Heath and further countryside walks accessible a short distance from the cottage.
Brackenhurst Cottage has been beautifully furnished to create the perfect holiday hideaway for up to four guests (children over six) and up to two four legged family members. The open-plan living space is accessed from the rear of the cottage, through french doors. The modern fitted kitchen has everything you will need to prepare tasty meals when you are not dining out in the local pubs and restaurants along the coast. The extending dining table comfortably seats four people and the seating area has two super comfy sofas to cosy up on, with a book or in front of the large smart TV with sound bar in the evening. In the colder months there is a wonderful wood burning stove, perfect for warming toes after a long day walking or exploring the beaches nearby. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms; one looking out to the rear of the cottage has a super-king size bed while bedroom two looks out over the front garden and has flexible beds that can be made up either as a super-king or as twin 3ft single beds (please request on booking). The family shower room has a large shower enclosure with mains pressure shower, WC and wash hand basin. Located at the end of a partially unmade private road, Brackenhurst Cottage enjoys a wonderfully peaceful location with parking for two cars in the main house driveway and there is an EV charger accessible for guests. The cottage boasts a great sized garden that wraps around three sides of the building. The pretty front garden is laid to lawn, bordered with attractive planting and a garden bench, and a path leads around the side to the rear of the cottage, where there is a fenced courtyard garden with dining table and chairs and a charcoal barbecue for alfresco dining in with summer months. The whole garden is fully secure for pets, when the pedestrian gates are closed.
Brackenhurst Cottage offers the opportunity to spend time in a comfortable space situated just a short stroll from the many amenities the seaside village of West Runton has to offer. You can walk the coast path, explore picturesque seaside villages and towns to the east and west, run the dog on the expansive, sandy beach or enjoy a picnic packed full of fabulous local produce.

Brackenhurst annexe was a prime location. From the cottage you can walk right into the woods. The cottage is cosy and comfortable in a beautiful, quiet area in the middle of the greenery and plenty of privacy. There is plenty to see and do in the area: from beautiful walks to a city trip to Norwich. The beach is also close by and there are cosy pubs or tearooms everywhere for a bite and a drink. We certainly hope to go back again!

Fabulous, loved it glorious setting so rural but loads to see West Runton. Beach is beautiful. You can walk to Cromer along the beach from West Runton, down the path next to the Village Inn, which is fabulous for food. Over the road, the Thai restaurant in Walton is fantastic. Railway stations everywhere, hosts were so lovely. Xx

The Annex was just perfect for us. Extremely comfortable. A home more than a holiday place to stay. Excellent stay. Hosts were so friendly and helpful.
