An appealing, thatched holiday cottage, situated in verdant, north Norfolk surroundings, this exceptional retreat makes a superb place from which to enjoy the coast and the countryside. Sleeping four guests, the two-bedroom cottage is one of three holiday homes on the owner’s property, with privacy assured, and can be booked together for larger groups. The property is only 1.5 miles from the beach at West Runton, where you can swim, picnic, and explore the rock pools. There is a pub, grocers, station, two cafes, a restaurant, and golf all to be found within half a mile of the cottage's front door. Discover footpaths to follow from the cottage or strike out along the Norfolk Coast Path then catch the Coasthopper bus back again. Head into the seaside resort of Cromer, 2.5 miles away, to shop, enjoy the beach, or dine out.
Open the door to this light-filled cottage, with its many windows, and wander through to the lounge to relax together before your next adventure. Unpack any groceries you have bought locally in the well-equipped kitchen/diner, where you will find everything you need to prepare a meal, and a dishwasher to make your stay as easy as possible. There is a dining table and chairs for all to sit and eat together and plan the next day's adventure. The French windows open onto the garden on fine days. As night falls, make your way to either the double bedroom or the twin, each of which has an en-suite shower room, with shower cubicle and WC.
Set the table for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in your private, enclosed garden when the weather permits and soak up the serenity of this outside space.
