Renovated in 2022, Two Little Ducks is in an ideal location. Its situated just over a mile away from the sandy beach and also near to shops and restaurants..

Living room/kitchen: With Smart TV, breakfast area, electric oven, electric hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine and patio doors leading to garden.
Separate toilet.
First Floor:
Bedroom 1: With kingsize bed.
Bedroom 2: With twin beds.
Shower room: With shower cubicle and toilet.
. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Large lawned garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. In the bustling town of Wells-next-the-Sea, this recently renovated (in 2022), semi-detached cottage is sure to impress. You are within walking distance of multiple shops, restaurants, pubs, fish ’n’ chip shops and ice cream parlours. The famous sandy beach is only 1 mile away, with a seasonal mini bus that takes you from the quayside to the beach. When you arrive at the beach you will notice a crazy golf course and more family fun activities. The harbour is practically on your doorstep, which offers sailing and crabbing.
Wells-next-the-Sea has so much to offer that you will be tempted to park up and explore everything on foot, but it is also very close to Holkham Hall and Estate. You will find sailing and fishing trips, an array of traditional and artisan shops, and lots of lovely places where you can eat and drink. You can take the single gauge railway down to the wide, sandy beach or hop on the Wells and Walsingham Light Railway, and take a trip to picturesque Walsingham to see the National Shrine of our Lady.
Head east and explore Blakeney for a spot of crabbing; Sheringham for the North Norfolk Steam Railway and Sheringham Park, or Cromer with its famous pier and Edwardian seafront. Or head west and experience all the fun of the fair in Hunstanton, where you will also find a Sea Life Centre. Afterwards you can return to Two Little Ducks to relax, unwind and dream of adventures yet to come. Beach ¾ mile. Shop, pub and restaurant 100 yards.

Really loved the cottage and the location is great for going towards Hunstanton, Cromer or inland.It's a shame the parking only takes one car but the Council car park is very near and not extortionate so it's not the end of the World.So handy for Wells on foot.We had a great week!

Review of 2 Little Ducks2 Little Ducks is a cosy cottage in a central location, conveniently situated for shops, restaurants, the coastal bus and walks to the beach. The added bonus of a parking space is welcome. However, the map provided at the time of booking did not show the exact location, and we subsequently received additional directions for Blackhorse Yard. Be warned: the access is extremely narrow and certainly not for the faint-hearted or anyone with a large car!Overall, the cottage is clean, the kitchen is well equipped and the beds are comfortable. However, as mentioned in other reviews, there is a definite lack of information and instructions for guests, which would benefit from being addressed.The property is managed on behalf of the housebound gentleman next door by his niece, who does not live locally. Unfortunately, we experienced an issue with the shower door, which rendered the shower unusable over the weekend. We were very fortunate that the caretaker/handyman was able to attend on Monday and fix it. However, other maintenance issues that had already been reported, including towel rails coming away from the walls, apparently cannot be addressed while the cottage is fully booked. If these issues continue to be deferred, there is a risk that the facilities will gradually deteriorate.We were also informed that work is being undertaken on the garden. Given the size of the plot, we were curious to see what it had been like previously, as at present it feels more like a large area of grass than a garden, with the outdoor furniture positioned just outside the cottage back door on the grass. Apart from the vehicle access issue, overall, the cottage has a lot going for it in terms of location, comfort and cleanliness. However, clearer guest information and more proactive maintenance would make a significant difference to the experience.

We had a pleasant and comfortable stay at Two Little Ducks. It was clean and fairly spacious. Good value for the money and the outside space was a bonus - albeit in need of a bit of a tidy up.The following comments are meant to be helpful to improve the property / the stay by users. Parking is tight - best approach from the Quay end of Blackhorse Yard. Wifi is very patchy and slow. TV signal very low so not able to view HD channels. Biggest criticism is TOTAL lack of information about any of the appliances etc in the property. We have never experienced that anywhere before.We would stay again but would like to see improvements in the areas mentioned.
