We had a wonderful week at Oak Barn, helped of course, by fantastic weather. It is a fabulous place to relax and unwind and we loved it! Lucy and John provided so much that you don't often get in a holiday rental and we much appreciated it. Only one thing I would mention - some sharp knives would be handy. They are all very blunt! However this is a minor detail. Will definitely return.

A really lovely place to stay. We stayed here as a family of eight (including grandparents, one child and one toddler). The Oak Barn is easy to find, very clean, and in a scenic location with cute chickens and adorable goats!Toiletries were very helpful but we didn’t have much toilet roll - this could be very easily fixed. There was also a broken shelf in a kitchen cupboard which meant that a glass bowl slid off it and broke. Again, very easily fixed. A small bottle of milk in the fridge would also be much appreciated instead of UHT milk sachets. The living room is roomy but snuggly, and the bedrooms are lovely. The beds were comfy and the bed linen was soft.I would recommend this place to any family or group of friends looking for a peaceful, comfortable stay in a beautiful setting.
