Summer Time is a delightful, west-facing detached single storey timber property. Set on the edge of the River Yare, opposite Surlingham Broad Nature Reserve, it is perfect holiday accommodation for relaxing and watching boats go by. Fishing is available from the riverbank (seasonal licence required) and with many types of fish to be caught. This is an ideal position for nature lovers and artists. The railway station is just 500 yards away. Within 30 minutes you could be in Great Yarmouth, enjoying the promenade and the sandy beach or alternatively spending time in the fine city of Norwich with its cathedral, museum, theatres, excellent shopping, array of cafes and restaurants. Shop 650 yards, pub and restaurant 500 yards.

A lovely cottage with a well equipped kitchen, very spacious and nice big patio windows with the river view.There’s a couple of things that I felt weren’t up to standard but I am being picky!The outside furniture was covered in cobwebs and the rattan cushions were dirty and in need of a good scrub.The double bed was rather hard but I guess that’s personal preference.It would be useful to have had an outside tap for cleaning up my dog but we did manage with the bucket from the shed.Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property.

Lovely holiday at Summertime. Small but has all you need. So nice to look out and see the river. Very handy railway station within a short walk and nice pub next to it.

Unfortunately in the middle of a boat marina area and no walk along the river available. Quiet and peaceful.
