Great location in the quiet countryside within easy reach of the bright lights of Tyneside , the wonderful Beamish museum (20minutes) or the wilderness of the North Pennines , and within 10 minutes drive of a range of supermarkets in Consett and restaurants and bars in Lanchester. The cottage itself is very comfortable, well equipped , and so cosy with the log burner using local logs..A smart TV , a coffee maker and features items new to me - a Bluetooth bathroom mirror, infra-red ceiling heaters helped make it feel like a real home- not just a basic rental. The helpful friendly and efficient host lives next door.
