Jaxon’s Kingdom features a welcoming decking area with outdoor seating, perfectly positioned to enjoy sea views and sunny family meals. Inside, the open-plan living space brings everyone together, with a well-equipped kitchen, dining area and a large corner sofa that converts into a double bed for additional guests. Entertainment is covered with a Smart TV and X-box, ensuring fun for all ages.
A stand out feature of the lodge is the dedicated sensory corner, thoughtfully created to delight and support children. This calming space includes a selection of sensory toys, lights, a talking aid, and a blackout pop-up tent—ideal for children who may need time to relax if feeling overstimulated. For added peace of mind, safety catches on doors and window locks throughout help keep loved ones secure.
The bedrooms are imaginative, comforting and full of character. There are two twin rooms, one with a fun space theme and the other a vibrant rainbow theme, both complete with projectors and colour-changing mood lighting to inspire young minds. Optional blackout blinds are provided to support the best possible sleep. The master double bedroom offers a relaxing retreat for parents, while a modern family shower room completes the accommodation.
Set atop the cliffs of the Durham Heritage Coast, Crimdon Dene Holiday Park enjoys sea views and direct access to a vast, golden beach below. Peaceful all year round, these beautiful, uncrowded sands are perfect for gentle walks, quiet moments, and classic seaside fun with the children. It’s a place where families can slow down, breathe deeply, and enjoy quality time together.
Just a short drive away, you’ll find the lively town of Hartlepool, home to the popular Hartlepool Maritime Experience. Continue along the coast to Seaton Carew, with its charming promenade and traditional seaside attractions. For memorable day trips, explore the historic city of Durham, with its iconic cathedral and castle (both unesco World Heritage Sites), or visit the picturesque fishing village of Staithes, renowned for its dramatic coastal views and quaint cottages. With so many nearby attractions, there’s something for every member of the family.
Back on park, guests can enjoy included passes for the heated indoor swimming pool, on-site activities and family entertainment. The swimming pool and club house are open between the 13th March - 24th Nov 2026. There are also on-site play areas, multi-sport courts for football, netball and basketball, plus arcades to keep children entertained. When it’s time to unwind, the Boathouse Bar & Restaurant offers hearty meals in a relaxed setting. The lodge is ideally positioned opposite the clubhouse, making it easy to pop over for drinks, snacks or dinner whenever you wish.
