Forest Close offers plenty of space for up to eight guests to spend time together dining and socialising, with a garden for relaxing reached from the patio doors, perfect for all ages. The bedrooms are set over two floors, ideal for those who enjoy some ground floor facilities. Set in a lovely small private development it is one of four detached properties on an exclusive plot. With easy access to the coast at Whitley Bay, which is just 6 miles away, with a wonderful promenade where you can eat an ice lolly or eat fish and chips, a real seaside treat. Also close by is Newcastle city centre with lots of amenities and transport links nearby.
Forest Close is an excellent place to stay if you fancy a trip to the racecourse at Gosforth Park at just 3 miles away.
Located on the outskirts of the vibrant city of Newcastle, it an ideal property for business or pleasure, and its a fabulous place to visit. Benton itself has some lovely places to eat and you are not far from a selection of shops and cafés. Visit the famous Quayside and stroll over the Millennium Bridge while taking in the view towards the iconic Tyne Bridge. The road network is fantastic and will take you off in all directions. Whether you want to go to the coast, or perhaps a visit to Hadrian’s Wall, there is so much to see and do here you will find it hard to fit it all in. If you want to travel further afield, why not visit Tynemouth just 7 miles away, with a vast array of restaurants, bars, pretty shops, the Abbey and a beach. Beach 6½ miles.

On arrival found shortages in cutlery, glassware, cups and missing kitchen table and chairs. Owner responded within 12 hours and corrected. Also leaking radiator caused loss in pressure which shut down heating. Temporary repair also completed at the same time. Could do with more wardrobe space and mirrors, and local water pressure low which meant strategic planning for showers etc. but small inconvenience out of owner's control. Used for access to Freeman Hospital over Christmas and proved perfect - 10 min. drive. Also close to parks and country park for dog walks and fresh air and major supermarkets. Beaches and Newcastle centre also within short drive. Would benefit with additional storage for recycling and local information (eg bin collections etc. and what to recycle) although these are available on local authority website.

Potential to be a lovely place to stay unfortunately finished to a poor standard. Location was Good near to family. Size of property. Given wrong Key code to acces property had to wait over 30mins for someone to help us gain entry. (Not helpful after an 8hr journey due to weather & traffic) House cold, Boiler not working No heating or Hot water initially. Two lovely guys sent out to fix problem. Noted crumbs of food under dining room table. Noted dripping front room radiator, noted ripped carpet, underlay wet due to leakage of shower other side of wall. Hubby spent time pushing carpet tacks in as prominent and dangerous. Runners between rooms screws also prominent. Noted broken metal inside one of the reclining sofas. Noted broken drawer of bedside table. Three showers could only use one at a time due to water presure, one working others had poor flow. Kitchenware basic only one wine glas and two mugs. Property not suitable for families due to poor maintenance. We travelled as four adults & 19month old twins. Left after two nights had booked for three. Very disappointed overall, with a little time and effort this could be a lovely place to stay.
