Forest Close is a spacious property with a convenient location for exploring Newcastle and surrounding areas. It offers good value for money and has seen some recent improvements in seating and storage. The property is generally clean and tidy, though some guests noted areas for enhancement.
The property is described as clean and tidy by some guests, but others noted the presence of cobwebs and a lack of thorough cleaning. The cleanliness is generally acceptable but could be improved.
The location is appreciated for its proximity to local amenities and as a base for exploring the region. However, some guests were dissatisfied with the residential setting and distance from certain attractions.
Guests found the beds comfortable and the property spacious. However, comments about uncomfortable sofas and the need for more homely touches suggest that comfort could be enhanced.
Facilities require attention, with reports of inadequate hot water, power issues, and a need for more kitchen equipment. Maintenance issues like a leaking radiator and the need for better showers were also mentioned.
There is no mention of gifts or extra thoughtful touches provided by the owner, so it is not possible to assess the thoughtfulness of the property based on the reviews provided.

Located on the outskirts of the vibrant city of Newcastle, it an ideal property for business or pleasure, and its a fabulous place to visit. Stayed for 4 nights, its ideally located as a base for visiting Newcastle and areas like Whiteley Bay, with the Metro only being a mile away and good off street parking,As for the property which is very large, there are two areas which need to attention, 1.) a desperate need of some TLC, think more wardrobes and drawers are needed in the rooms, which although large are very sparce in terms of furniture, and 2.) updated showers, there are three in total the upstairs significantly impacted by any other use of water and thus loses output and all could benefit from being power showers rather than simple flow. If you just want somewhere to crash for a few nights then maybe ok but my ratings are based against the many other properties I have used from Cottages.com

Great base for exploring Northumberland, comfy beds, plenty of bathrooms. Lovely sized kitchen and great lounge dining area.Could improve on having the garden fenced off we couldn't let our dog out. And also cut the grass. Some finishing touches within the house would make it more appealing. But we enjoyed our stay there and great value for money so what do you expect.

unfortunately I found access with my mobility almost impossible. My son had to go and buy a step so that I was able to access the property, I had specifically asked if there were any high steps and was assured that there were non so obviously I could not return here.
