The accommodation is extremely well presented throughout, and with two double bedrooms and two bathrooms, this property is suitable for couples as well as friends and families.
The property is a few minutes’ walk from Alnwick Castle as well as being within easy walking distance of a wide range of amenities, including an abundance of independent shops and a variety of pubs and tea rooms. There is a cinema/playhouse close by and Alnwick Gardens is well worth a visit too.
Percy’s Place is an excellent choice for those seeking a convenient base with easy access to explore the beautiful 20 mile stretch of Heritage coastline, designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty to the east, and the wild and lonely expanses of the heather-capped Cheviot Hills to the west. Beach 4 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 100 yards.

We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. It was cosy, clean and had everything we needed. Yes, there was a bit of noise for 5 minutes every morning at 6am when there was a delivery across the road, but if you are staying in such a central location that is to be expected and it really did only last 5 minutes.

Do not be put off this property by the couple of very critical recent reviews. Afriend and I have just spent a week there and loved it. We found it clean, extremely comfortable and well equipped, centrally placed in the centre of beautiful Alnwick, and warm and cosy. We did have a little problem with the parking, in that its very tight for a Ford Kuga and a Range Rover to park side by side, and I too got a snotty little note left under the windscreen wiper, but in fairness if I had to run the gauntlet of nervous-parking strangers on a weekly basis, I think I might be a bit snotty too! We found a way round it, and peace eventually broke out! We could in fact have parked outside the property most of the time with a parking disc (which can be purchased for £1 from local shops). We had a very enjoyable week here, and I would happily stay there again if I wanted to stay in the area.
