A fabulous holiday cottage for a family! Amazingly clean and well equipped, in a perfect location to explore the beaches and castles of Northumberland. It is a simple 20 min walk or 5 min drive from the coastal path and Longhoughton Beach, but also 10 mins from the A1 so easy to get to Bamburgh and Alnwick. We spent an amazing 2 weeks at The Barn - visiting Beadnell, Seahouses, Bamburgh, surfing and coastering. There is so much to do around Northumberland it is tricky to fit it all in! We were a family of 4 and there was plenty of space for us, our bodyboards and wetsuits. Katie and Jim are lovely hosts and are on hand for any questions and recommendations. The Barn is set back from the road so it is really quiet and peaceful.

We loved our stay at the Barn! It was spacious, clean, comfortable and well equipped. The location was perfect for exploring the stunning Northumberland coastline. The host Katie was friendly and helpful and our children loved meeting the cats, Ossie and Bertie! Hopefully we’ll return soon. Would highly recommend.
