Bamburgh also has a pretty beach and is home to the RNLI Grace Darling Museum too. Enjoy a day out visiting the beautiful Holy Island of Lindisfarne, inhabited in 635AD by Saint Aidan, you can marvel at Lindisfarne Castle, the ruins of Lindisfarne Priory and learn more about the history of the island at the Lindisfarne Heritage Centre. Head further north up to England's most northerly town, Berwick-upon-Tweed, to walk the amazing Elizabethan walls, visit Berwick Castle, and see Berwick's Barracks too.
