Beadnell is ideal for surfing, swimming or enjoying water sports and is only a mile from Seahouses, popular for its beach, golf, fish and chips and boat trips to the Farne Islands. Only half an hour from the ducal town of Alnwick, with its castle, cobbled streets and enchanting gardens. Bamburgh, renowned for its dramatic fortress is only a further 3 miles up this incredible unspoilt stretch of coastline. Shop 350 yards, pub and restaurant 400 yards.

Excellent, clean, quiet location and ideally situated to visit places.

We have stayed in this property several times. Always spotlessly clean and comfortable. Great location with easy access to other places. The area has miles of sandy beaches which are very quiet out of season. Beadnell has a small village shop which we have never used however Seahouses is only a short drive away should you need a supermarket. We love it here and will return for another stay.

The Coastal Retreat bungalow had all of the requirements needed for a good holiday, everything was very clean and well presented and all of the equipment, kitchen, living room and bedrooms worked well, our stay at Coastal Retreat only had one small niggle which was the log burner which refused to keep going, thankfully the convection heaters worked well and kept the bungalow toasty warm
