Beadnell is ideal for surfing, swimming or enjoying water sports and is only a mile from Seahouses, popular for its beach, golf, fish and chips and boat trips to the Farne Islands. Only half an hour from the ducal town of Alnwick, with its castle, cobbled streets and enchanting gardens. Bamburgh, renowned for its dramatic fortress is only a further 3 miles up this incredible unspoilt stretch of coastline. Shop 350 yards, pub and restaurant 400 yards.

A fabulous 2 weeks spent in Coastal Retreat.Accommodation very clean, comfortable with top range bedding, towels, kitchen equipment.Comfortable and warm, log burner fire, we only used once.Location, excellent, in the heart of Beadnell in a quiet cul de sac.A five minute walk to the sea, 15 minutes to Beadnell's golden sands.Ideal for walking to Seahouses, Bamburgh and even Craster.On the bus route too.Pubs and cafés all local, within walking distance. Village shop and fish and chip van, Wednesday to Saturday. It is an ideal base for a holiday.
