Doxford Dairy is a lovely cottage with everything you could need for a self catering stay. The bedrooms were all comfortable and tastefully decorated, as was the living room and the kitchen/ dining room is huge which makes it a natural place for everyone to gravitate to. Wi-fi was good and the surrounding lawn area was perfect for our 2 dogs being completely fenced / walled in and away from the other cottages. Beautiful beaches and local historical sites are within easy reach by car. It is not within walking distance to any local amenities and the welcome pack of grocery essentials was much appreciated. If you want peace and quiet it is perfect and has a beautiful lake to walk around and admire the birds and wildlife.

Beautiful cottage. Lovely view of bird feeder with plentiful passerine birds and woodpecker. Well equipped except more mugs would be good (only 6). Dish washer needs a bit of tlc. The beds were huge and very comfortable. Great big kitchen as well as a large dining room.Very peaceful as away from the other cottages. Beautiful lake nearby.Certainly recommend

Great house and excellent facilities. We had this house and Carriage house for our family of 14. We had a great holiday. The children loved the play park and the games room. Would highly recommend any of Doxford cottages.
