Just a five-minute drive is the romantic Embleton Bay, a vast stretch of golden sand backed by dunes, and the famous Bamburgh Beach, overlooked by its iconic castle. Beadnell Bay and Alnmouth Beach are also nearby, offering fantastic walks and stunning sea views. Newton by the Sea is 5 miles away with a National Trust beach and fabulous Micro Brewery. For history lovers, Alnwick Castle and Gardens are a must-visit, as well as the charming fishing villages of Craster, Seahouses, and Warkworth. Craster was a favourite of “Vera” often spotted in an episode, famous for the “kippers” and the walk along the cliff top to Dunstanborough Castle.

Beautiful cottage in an idyllic setting. Super comfy. Only thing I’d change is more cutlery and more consumables such as dishwasher tablets & loo rolls etc and a table outside in the garden.

Lovely accommodation with everything you could possibly require. Very central for both coastal and countryside attractions and some good pubs not far for meals. Most highly recommend!
