This cottage oozes style and enjoys a fresh and contemporary ambience throughout. The property has been furnished with excellent taste and much care, thought and attention to detail ensures that it’s a haven for relaxation. A delightful private patio area provides an ideal opportunity to dine al fresco. The cottage is positioned opposite St Ebba’s Church (named after a Northumbrian princess who founded an abbey in Coldingham). A cosy café/bistro, a coffee shop with delicious cakes, a village shop and two pubs both with family friendly restaurants renowned for delicious food are only a gentle stroll from Smugglers Den. The magnificent Beadnell Bay is only a 12 minute walk away, with smaller coves and beaches located within a 5 minute walk.

Well presented comftable cottage in a great location with easy access to the flat Beadnell Bay beach. Just needed loo roll and toilet soap - an oversight by the cleaning team. Bus stop close by. Short journey to Craster and scenic walk back along the coast visiting Dunstanburgh Castle and The Ship Inn at Low Newton for lunch. Short drives to Alnwick Castle and Holy Island (check safe causeway crossing times)

We loved staying at Smuggler’s Den. It had everything we needed and is in an excellent location, not just for amenities in Beadnall but for travelling to our favourite places nearby.Comfortable bed and great shower too. Very short walk to the beach, which we did a few times.We would definitely recommend , although it is a little more expensive than other properties in Beadnall.

The accommodation is lovely, clean and homely. It's in a great location in the village and has private parking. All we needed for the week. Beadnell is a lovely place to stay. Lots of lovely walks and places to eat. It's also central for visiting many other places in the area. We had a very relaxing holiday and will return to see more of Northumberland's beauty.
