Two miles up the coastline is the traditional fishing port of Seahouses, where boat trips to the nearby Farne Islands can be taken. A further 3 miles up the coastline is the picturesque village of Bamburgh, which lies snuggled in the shadow of its majestic fortress and commands the power and presence of the seasoned television set it regularly becomes. Holy Island – the birthplace of Christianity and site of Lindisfarne Castle – can be seen from the unspoilt golden, sandy beach. Just a few miles inland is the bustling market town of Alnwick, with its own dramatic castle (film location for Harry Potter’s Hogwarts Academy!). Great value for money and spotlessly clean. It's no frills but as you're out most of the time it doesn't matter.

Really comfortable well equipped home with plenty of room for us! Short walk to beach and eating places and near to bus stops to get local transport but short drive to Alnwick and Seahouses. Really comfy beds and setees!! Situated in quiet cul de sac so slept really well. Nice welcome pack and house stayed warm through week.
