Guests say

Top Croft offers a cosy and well-equipped base in a fantastic location, just moments from the beach and local amenities. Guests frequently praise its cleanliness, comfort, and thoughtful touches, making it ideal for exploring Northumberland’s coast. While some minor maintenance issues and dampness are noted, these do not detract from the overall positive experience. The property is especially appreciated for its welcoming atmosphere and suitability for both couples and families.

Most guests found the property clean and tidy, with fresh towels and linen. However, a few mentioned issues such as mould on windows, dirty kitchenware, and a damp smell in the hallway.

The location is highly praised, being less than a minute from the beach and close to shops, pubs, and scenic attractions, making it an excellent base for exploring the area.

Guests generally found the flat comfortable and cosy, though some noted it could be cold or damp on arrival and that the seating and dining areas were a bit cramped for four people.

The property is well equipped with useful amenities like a coffee machine and air fryer. Some maintenance issues were reported, such as broken tiles, doors needing adjustment, and a shelf in the bathroom, but these did not significantly impact most stays.

Several guests appreciated thoughtful touches such as milk, biscuits, and tea/coffee provided on arrival, as well as friendly communication from the owner. Please note that such gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.

Good location. The apartment needs some TLC. There was black mould in the bedroom. The shelf in the bathroom was not secure and lightbulbs needed changing. The porch area was cold and damp. However, it is well equipped and clean. Cheaper than other rental places in Beadnell.

Beadnell is an excellent place to stay & explore Northumberlands coast. The accommodation is first floor & provides everything you need gor a short stay. The coffee machine & double airfryer are a welcome bonus. Outdoor clothesline & pegs available for drying on fine days, but inside dryer also. Large boot/coat storage area inside front door, but remember to put heater on if required as no "through" draft with door closed at top of stairs.

Very kind of the owners to make contact when there was a power cut during our stay. The apartment was clean and comfortable, although heating was tricky and the electric shower is not up to the job.
