The cottage is in a lovely location in a small hamlet, which can be difficult to get to. It is near Hadrian's Wall and there are many good local walks, as well as interesting museums and historical sites.

Beautiful cottage in a quiet rural location with walks straight from the door. Maintained to a very high standard with all rooms in excellent condition, didn't use the utility room but there was a spare freezer in there along with a washing machine. My only small niggle (and its only small) is that due to its rural location the phone signal/internet was a little hit and miss but when you go away for R&R not exactly high up the list. Lovely welcome pack from Julie who was a super host and can't wait to return in the future

A beautiful cottage in a fairly remote spot surrounded by beautiful countryside. We loved this place with its little steam running close by. The cottage was immaculately clean and comfortable with all amenities. Julie was extremely helpful and welcoming and left a great welcome pack too.
