This delightful, traditional end-terrace Lakeland cottage is situated next to the owner's pub, on the outskirts of the village of Allithwaite, two miles from both Cartmel and Grange-over-Sands. This beautiful Allithwaite cottage provides a perfect retreat for those looking to get away with friends, or enjoy a romantic break with your loved one. Individually styled throughout, this cottage in Allithwaite features a superb kitchen with centre island and a fridge/freezer with cold drink dispenser, a delightful summer room with dining area and a warm and cosy sitting room with 3D TV and woodburning stove. On the first floor at this Lake District cottage and completing the accommodation are two lovely double bedrooms and a first class bathroom with walk-in shower and a luxury Jacuzzi bath.
This is a great area for walking, with wonderful woodland walks featuring rare trees and wild flowers in abundance, alternately take a pleasant stroll down to the coast, or venture inland along one of the many nearby footpaths. The Lake District National Park, Lakeland Motor Museum, the old village of Cartmel and the pleasant Victorian seaside resort of Grange-over-Sands are all within easy reach, making this quality Allithwaite holiday home an ideal base for enjoying this corner of the Lake District.
The village of Allithwaite is located close to the Lake District National Park, two miles from both Cartmel and Grange-over-Sands. Allithwaite offers a shop, Post Office and two pubs serving food, whilst the village of Cartmel has streamside walks, quaint cobbled streets littered with antique shops, traditional pubs and the acclaimed, Michelin Star-awarded L'Enclume restaurant. The Edwardian seaside resort of Grange-over-Sands boasts a traffic-free promenade, ornamental gardens, a choice of golf courses and bird watching opportunities.

A perfect place to travel around the area from and not forgetting that it's attached to a pub. The pub sells cracking beers and absolutely fantastic food and the staff, which there seems to be quite a few are so, so friendly and so helpful. Charlotte who runs the pub and owns the beautiful cottage is so helpful and ready to help no matter how small a problem you have she's there ready to help. I would definitely come back here. ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!!!!

The cottage was spotlessly clean and had everything required to make our stay a home from home. We frequented the lovely pub next door each day and we're made to feel extremely welcome especially our little staffie smudge who got lots of attention.We can recommend the food as we ate there 2 days out of the 3 and also had breakfast on our leaving day which is a must if you are staying in the area.The cottage is in a great position to visit all the south lakes attractions which are all within a 30 mins drive. Will definitely be returning when we get the opportunity. Thanks for our lovely stay Sarah,Steve and Smudge x
