Situated in the heart of Lytham St Annes, just yards from the beach, this first floor duplex is the ideal base for families, friends and couples wanting to explore the Fylde coast. Downstairs, there is a bright, well equipped kitchen kitted out with everything you need for your stay including dishwasher, microwave and washer/dryer. The open plan living/dining room is the ideal space to kick back and relax in front of the TV, while the seating area by the window makes a great nook to enjoy a good book from or to simply watch the world go by. Both bedrooms are on their own floor which allows guests to all enjoy their own space. The first bedroom is a spacious double with an en-suite shower room, upstairs, the second enormous bedroom has two double beds as well as another en-suite bathroom making this perfect for families and friends to all stay together. Birkby Lodge also boasts a pretty garden shared with the other two apartments in the building, the seating area offers a lovely spot to soak up the sun after a busy day.
Lytham St Annes is a picturesque seaside town on the Fylde coast between Blackpool and Lytham. Take a stroll through the golden sand dunes or enjoy a picnic on the beach where you can even rent one of the beach huts along the seafront that come with a kettle, fridge and heating. There are lots of fabulous restaurants, cafés and shops. Venture a little further down the coast and you’ll reach the bright lights, glitz and glamour of Blackpool. Home to the Pleasure Beach, Blackpool Tower, zoo and Illuminations, there is a world of fun for all the family to enjoy. Just 10 minutes’ drive or a leisurely stroll down the coast, you will reach Lytham, it’s boating lake, windmill and nature reserve provide a fabulous fun filled afternoon out for all. Really lovely apartment close to beach. We stayed to watch the women’s golf and were just a 20 minute walk away. The apartment is well equipped - loads of crockery etc. we were a family of 6 - 2 grandparents and then 2 parents with children in the room with 2x doubles - I guess if your family dynamics work - this is even better value . Both rooms en suite with an extra toilet was really good. Plenty of parking.
