Enjoying spectacular countryside views, this detached holiday cottage is furnished and equipped to a very high standard and set within the 7-acre grounds of Garden Farm (no longer working), in a quiet and peaceful location on the edge of Ilam Hall Country Park. The ground floor comprises of a living room, spacious kitchen and a twin bedroom with an en-suite, and the first floor has a double bedroom and a bathroom. Excellent walking can be enjoyed from the door as well as cycling. The beautiful Dovedale and Manifold valleys lie just a mile away. Tissington and High Peak Trails nearby. Ashbourne 5 miles. Carsington Water 9 miles. Alton Towers 8 miles. Shops 5 miles, pub 1 mile.

We spent a week at Garden Farm Cottage and had a very comfortable stay. The cottage was clean and very well equipped. The location was perfect for us with walks from the door which was ideal for early morning walks with the dog. We food shopped in Ashbourne where there are lots of places to enjoy a coffee or a meal. Would love to visit again,and would definitely recommend.

This was our third stay at this lovely cottage. The views are stunning and the cottage is well maintained and comfy. The owners who live next door are very welcoming and helpful if needed. The only drawback, which the owner warned us about, was the very poor WiFi. It did keep us fit however, as each day we walked to the NT cafe at Ilam park to use their WiFi. Lots of places to walk to from the cottage and places to visit when the weather is not so good.

Had a great time staying here with my two kids, stunning views and a well equipped lovely house. Poor phone signal here so maybe not ideal for people who are addicted to their phone!!
