Enjoying spectacular countryside views, this detached holiday cottage is furnished and equipped to a very high standard and set within the 7-acre grounds of Garden Farm (no longer working), in a quiet and peaceful location on the edge of Ilam Hall Country Park. The ground floor comprises of a living room, spacious kitchen and a twin bedroom with an en-suite, and the first floor has a double bedroom and a bathroom. Excellent walking can be enjoyed from the door as well as cycling. The beautiful Dovedale and Manifold valleys lie just a mile away. Tissington and High Peak Trails nearby. Ashbourne 5 miles. Carsington Water 9 miles. Alton Towers 8 miles. Shops 5 miles, pub 1 mile.

We had a really lovely stay at this cottage. It was spotlesly clean, warm and perfectly located for some great walks. It was very cosy on the cold winter evenings. There was lots of space for our dog to run around, including a private fenced off field. The only downside was having to bring our own towels - for a family of 4 this wasnt ideal as we were already very limited on space in the car and it has added to the end-of-holiday washing. But overall a lovely stay.

A very good place to stay for exploring the Derbyshire/Staffordshire area of the Peak District. The cottage is comfortable and well equipped and was very welcoming. Access to enclosed fields was very much appreciated by my dog. I would happily recommend this as a place to stay. The slight drawback is that access to shops or village pub does require transport or a good walk!
