You’re only 1.5 miles from Bakewell, the national park’s biggest town and home of the famous pudding. It’s also the starting point for the 8.5-mile traffic free Monsal Trail. For something less strenuous, you might fancy a stroll around Chatsworth House (5 miles) or the thermal spa town of Buxton (11 miles).
