Follow the natural views round to the double bedroom which is a true representation of the cabins character, with hunting items displayed, and interesting wall-art. Close by, discover the en-suite shower room, modernised to a delightful standard; here you can get ready in style morning through to evening. Outside, make the most of the decked area, a chance to be at one with the unique surroundings, and simply enjoy some peace and quiet, taking in the scenery. The village is home to two pubs, a shop, café, tea room, great craft centre and a church. The historic market square is cobbled and a scale of market charges is still posted on a board outside the market hall.
Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, the spa town of Buxton with its famous Opera House, the attractive market town of Bakewell are just a taste of what is on offer in this fabulous location. The River Dove to the east and the River Manifold to the west, only add to your holiday experience.
The Peak District village of Longnor is situated to the east of River Dove and to the west of River Manifold. The village offers shops, a Post Office, tea shop, a craft centre and a church. It is ideal for a couple who want a relaxing break or to explore the area, we live in Derbyshire and the week made us appreciate just what nice place we have on our doorstep. We will be having a short break again there is no doubt about that. Thanks we really enjoyed it.Ann and Gary 13/9/_20/9/24
