Unfortunately we didn’t have a good stay at 66 Fish. The downstairs bedrooms are next to the pavement and road which we found very noisy. The downstairs is damp and musty, not helped by dark interiors and bedding. Despite warm and dry weather and the dehumidifier it felt damp and mouldy. Overall needs a deep clean (cobwebs and dirty cutlery drawer and lots of clumps of dog hair) chipped and cracked crockery and extractor fan didn’t work. Broken blinds. We left early after 2 days which was a shame as Rye is lovely and would have liked to explore the area

We had a lovely holiday in this charming property. Everything was as described, and it was great having our own off road parking. It is very characterful and has lovely books and artwork on display, which makes it feel welcoming and homely. I would definitely like to stay there again.

We had a great stay, the location was perfect, easy access to the town, shop on the corner, park across the road! Parking space was a big benefit! The accommodation was very well equipped, the accommodation was mostly very clean, the oven could do with a clean and a couple of cobwebs but other than that it was very clean. We will definitely be booking again!
