We loved the house, Loreto, it was comfortable, clean, cosy, had everything we needed and more. The host was helpful and responded quickly to the few messages I sent. Freshwater is great, not big, but still has a proper Tesco! We particularly enjoyed our walks to the very friendly Freshwater coffee house for brunch and lunch, and we had a particularly nice meal at the Red Lion. Having Farringford house, (the former home of Lord Tennyson with its beautiful walled garden), almost on our doorstep was an added bonus. This was our first visit to the IOW, we had a wonderful time and hope to return!

A very cosy house, nicely furnished, with all the facilities required, including Pool table!

Lovely cottage however be careful on stairs quite steep and small treads. Also additional heating other than log fire would be beneficial. A rug in the dining area would also be a good addition as it is quite sparsely furnished and feels cold. Garden quite slippery in icy weather. A sign on the outside near the road would be helpful. We drove past three times without seeing property as there was a van parked in the drive. Also Belfast sink was very badly tea stained...which I managed to clean so cleaner had obviously not seen it.
