Fantastic house, in an amazing location. The house was a brilliant size for our family of 5 plus grandparents. Very well equipped with all you could need for a week away, the children were very happy to find a PlayStation and Xbox! Plenty of parking and a large garden. We loved that it was a super short walk to the beach, with a couple of tearooms and shop within walking distance too. Would definitely visit again!

The house is well equipped, clean and comfortable. The view of the Downs just inspires you to walk and the bay is so close - just a short walk and we were in the sea! Choices, so difficult to decide what to do first!

Poet's Corner is a lovely good 4 bedroom property with a good garden space. Though on one of the main roads in Freshwater Bay, the noise and volume of traffic was quite limited. What our two families loved most was getting back from a non-beach day and being able to don costumes for a 200m walk down to the sea. The L-shaped diner & lounge, separated by a piano (much enjoyed by our granddaughter) were both good spaces too.The galley style kitchen was well equipped for self catering and there was a good utility room providing the bonus of an extra fridge/freezer.The weather was so nice the good availability of tv's and games consoles and games were not needed. Loved the study room as a quiet space within the house which could have just as easily been an eleven plus base.Lovely circular walks from property including a round trip to The Needles.Our final family memory is of the lovely sunsets beside the Tennyson Monument.Our host Adam was easily contactable and when a minor electrical switch issue arose had a tradesmen deal with it within the day. A return to Poet's Corner would be lovely.
